Built to welcome its first guests in the autumn of 1979. The aim was to create the best possible conditions for education in the lovely archipelago environment and an architectural competition was announced. The winning entry was designed by Anders Thalberg at ELLT Architects, which later became White Architects. The contribution was called “Fresh Air” and is intended to stimulate creativity, work ethic and well-being, as we function better when we move and breathe fresh air.
