Sustainable leadership requires more than just strategic thinking – it demands a deep integration of business intelligence and inner growth. This session brings together cutting-edge sustainability insights from the World Business Council for Sustainable Development with the transformative principles of the Inner Development Goals. Participants will explore how science-driven business strategies can be strengthened by leadership qualities such as self-awareness, resilience, and collaboration. Through interactive discussions, real-world case studies, and reflective exercises, participants will gain the tools to drive business success while fostering personal and organizational transformation – creating a sustainable future from the inside out.
This track explores how AI and digital tools can support learning, collaboration, and community-building in ways that foster belonging and purpose-driven engagement. We will examine how technology can support human connection, personal and professional growth, and collective wisdom in an era shaped by AI. This track is designed for organizational leaders or change makers like coaches, consultants and facilitators interested in how technology and AI can help them cultivate IDG skills and have more impact with their work.
This interactive track invites changemakers from NGOs, funders, and other impact organisations to explore how inner development can enhance their effectiveness in the face of global challenges. Through inspiring case studies and work in small groups, participants will have the opportunity to meet with new allies and discover innovative approaches to amplify their impact.
The track will explore the practical aspects of integrating inner development in the organisation as well as the core mission, exploring how to cultivate robust ecosystems that link internal advocates with funders and experts in capacity-building and impact measurement. Join us as we come together to amplify our collective impact.
Digital Participants: The digital experience will largely follow the in-person program but will have several additional speakers bridging longer breaks in the in-person programme.

Supporting the inner development of emerging generations is critical, particularly for the 90% of the world’s 1.2 billion adolescents who live in the Global South. This track will feature youth leaders, system leaders, funders, and research experts working to make inner development accessible to youth in South Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Latin America. The discussions will explore on-the-ground innovations mainstreaming inner development through education and nature engagement, as well as intergenerational collaboration and youth-systems partnerships. Attention will also be given to measuring and funding inner development, including a new scale for core capacities by citiesRISE, and to integrating modern science with Global South-rooted ancient wisdom.
This track explores how inner development can empower individuals and teams to lead courageous and collaborative climate action in times of uncertainty. Participants will hear stories from world-leading climate champions and engage in practical sessions to strengthen their capacities for sensemaking, emotional resilience, collaboration and conscious decision-making. Through interactive labs, reflection, and peer learning, we’ll explore how to move from overwhelm to clarity, and from isolation to shared agency shifting from ego to eco, and cultivating the inner skills needed for a just, beautiful and regenerative future.
Digital Participants: The digital experience will mirror the in-person journey through a mix of live-streamed sessions, pre-recorded contributions, and interactive online practices. Participants will engage in global breakout groups, reflection prompts, and storytelling activities to support learning, connection, and action in their own contexts.
Take a step into a deep immersion into collective trauma, integration practices, and building leadership capacities for a divided time.
This interactive online track explores how unresolved trauma contributes to social and political fragmentation and how inner development can equip leaders to respond with presence, courage, and compassion. The core question will be: How can leadership begin to heal the deeper root causes of division in our societies?
Participants will be guided through a dynamic arc that includes trauma-informed framing, scientific insights, conflict-resolution perspectives, and embodied practices. The experience includes live facilitation, small-group breakout sessions, journaling prompts, and artistic/visual elements that support reflection and integration.

On-site participation: All on-site participants will have to register for one track via the Summit Online Platform and will stay with it for the entire day.
Digital participation: Given that tracks will be highly interactive on-site, the possibility to live-stream content will be determined as the program develops. Expect that not all tracks will be live-streamed.

Where is the IDG Summit 2025?
Located in the heart of Stockholm’s city centre on Barnhusgatan 12–14, the House of People, formerly the historic Folkets Hus, has been a cultural hub and meeting place for over a century. Originally inaugurated in 1901 as part of the Swedish People’s House movement, it served as a communal space where workers built their own venues for education, debate, culture, and community-led organising.
Recently revitalised under its new name, the house underwent careful renovation that honours the original design by architect Sven Markelius, preserving its elegant marble, sweeping staircases, and grand gathering rooms. With modern upgrades and cutting-edge meeting facilities, the venue now blends historical charm with contemporary function, offering light-filled halls and flexible spaces for 2 to 1,500 people.
Choosing the House of People as the venue for IDG Summit 2025 pays tribute to its legacy as a place of dialogue, collective learning, and social progress. A licensed psychologist working with systems change, organisational transformation and leadership development. He is also an actor, conductor and teacher in improvised Playback theatre. Pontus has worked with leadership, teams, cross-collaboration and transformational processes in a multitude of organisations and communities globally since the mid-1990s. He is one of the co-founders of Gro, a network of systems change makers, and has been part of the IDG journey from the start, with a focus on coordinating the global community of IDG Hubs and Networks.
Rodney Irwin

As COO and a member of the Senior Management Team at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), Rodney Irwin is responsible for a portfolio of projects that take sustainable development into the mainstream reporting of an organisation. In addition, he is the course director of WBCSD’s Leadership Program and leads WBCSD’s work on education. A trained and competent facilitator, Irwin has worked with both Boards and Supervisory Boards in multinational organisations in the private and humanitarian sectors. He has experience at some of the world’s leading organisations and has a global perspective and empathy for cultural diversity.

a neuroscientist, artist, political and learning scientist, education philosopher, social impact entrepreneur, and certified yoga and mindfulness meditation instructor. She is the co-director of Mobius, a home for the development of Liberatory Technology, and the founder of MindHeart AI, a contemplative tech company that she founded to develop AI-integrated platforms, applications, and courses grounded in neuroscience, “The Science of Social Justice” framework and the “Systems Based Awareness Map” which she developed to explore our capacity to heal intergenerational trauma and promote the well-being of “collective nervous systems”.
